He is a Business development manager with Enerparc (a German MNC). His job is to prospect, identify, solicit, network, and win large scale utility projects from IPPs (Independent Power Producers). Network with CXOs, VPs, Directors and build relationship with them for long term prospects is very important part of what he does.

He hails from a small village near Sonipat. He wishes to find a purpose in life.

He likes reading self-help books, exercising and smiling in times of crisis.

Why did you choose PGPpro programme?

1.      I have had those experiences where I saw the look in people’s eyes and that look was so condescending. I often found myself out of discussions, and when I asked questions people say I would not understand as topics were too financial or strategic. The business jargons, the accounting terms, the strategic choices, the marketing fundas were beyond my comprehensions and people went out of there ways to make me realize that I was not a person who would understand business.

My job required me to deal with all aspects of business i.e. I had to talk to procurement for RFQs, had to deal with technical teams for specs, had to deal with projects team to understand the scope of work and had to deal with CXOs during the proposal stage. I normally wasn’t able to add anything as and when proposals went to CXOs.  After a lot of thoughts and consultations with my closed ones, I decided that it was time for me to join a business program.

Meanwhile, I got interview call with ISB for PGP pro and got selected. My previous boss is ISB 2012 batch and I have known some other people from ISB, so there was no problem in there. The only Issue was big money but I was confident that the pain is worth it. Everything about ISB is great;

a.      Faculties are world-class and do a wonderful job.

b.      I get to experience in class experience every alternate weekend.

c.       The cohort is awesome.

d.      Alumni base is very strong and alumni are always to receptive.

e.      The webinars, the networking events, the industry reach everything makes ISB stand out.

I feel ISB is the best decision I have ever taken.
