Biography

Puneet Pant is a Naval Officer with experience of handling diverse roles in Design, Corporate Strategy, Manufacturing, Operations, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Overseeing and Human Resource for Military-Industrial ecosystem. A Naval Architect by profession, he has done his Post Graduation from IIT(Delhi) and has completed Masters in Defence & Strategic Studies. His experiences include work on cutting edge technologies with some of the best Military-Industrial Research Complexes in India and Abroad. He has also led teams for providing technical support to friendly Navies. With his multi-lingual and multi-cultural background, he has been providing rich diversity to the class.

Why did you choose PGPpro programme?

Over the years I have stayed in the environment which inculcates the qualities of courage, sense of duty, professional competence, initiative, loyalty and discipline. However, highly qualified and experienced soldiers have to leave service to keep the military of the Nation young. When the time for me to pass the baton was on the horizon, I decided to reengineer myself with skill sets which will help me in a smooth transition from Military to Corporate leadership position. The skillset developed by me during the course has prepared me for my second inning. Unique preceptive offered by the world-class faculty, SEAL (Student Engagement and Applied Learning) activities and Peer learning has helped in self-realization and enabled me for the professional transition.
