About

ISB’s Institute of Data Science is excited to host the ‘Business Analytics Datathon: 2022’ starting in the month of October 2022 and concluding in February 2023. The Datathon will offer the corporate and student teams an opportunity to leverage the knowledge of Advanced Analytics & Data Science to provide business solutions that encourage ‘Transformational decision-making’.

The short-listed teams of Datathon will get an opportunity to pitch their final solutions to a jury comprising of ISB faculties and industry experts.

Who can participate?

Team of 3-5 participants each

How does it work?

The Datathon will run from October 2022 – February 2023 on IIDS Server. A problem statement will be given to the participating team. The center will provide data sets for the model development of the business problem. The participating teams will be required to load their models on the IIDS server. The winner of the Datathon will be determined by the jury based on the model and the presentation.

Schedule

1. Registration of teams.

2. Conducting Workshop for Understanding the problem statement.

3. Release of the masked data set.

4. Submission of solutions by participating teams on the server to increase the efficiency of the model.

5. Shortlisting of top 5 teams for presentation.

6. Teams’ presentation of the business problem solution to the jury

7. Announcement of the winner.
