Job Purpose

The Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business seeks to impact public policy by delivering cutting-edge education, research, and engagement. The Bharti Institute intends to focus on evidence-based policy – a theme which underlies these three dimensions in a mutually reinforcing manner.

 

We are seeking to recruit motivated candidates for the position of Analyst- Marketing/Strategy for the India Data Portal project. This person will work with other RAs, data scientists, post-doctoral fellows, Communication lead and policy analysts as a team under the guidance and supervision of BIPP Executive Director, Prof. Ashwini Chhatre. This is a position in an academic setting. You will assist with analysis of problems in public policy, broadly focusing on food and agriculture, rural development and financial inclusion for the poor, with the objective of creating knowledge products for policy impact.



Job Outline

·         You will be aligned with our communications and project teams and help us in dealing with the end-to-end communications and outreach activities.

·         You will be working as a part of Communications Content Design & Development team which is responsible for the creation, curation and deployment of various communications tools and training modules.

·         Use analytics data from multiple social media sources or in-built databases and work on strategies to overcome the existing challenges, increase viewership and launch new initiatives.

·         Proactively monitors info from available social media platforms and provide updated insights regularly.

·         Responsible for Identifying gaps and opportunities in the existing promotion and outreach plan and come up with best possible solution to bridge the gaps.

·         Optimize marketing automation process through email, blogs, and social channels.

·         Run regular social promotions and campaigns and tracking their success and monitor user engagement and analyze feedback for future use.

·         Driving consistent, relevant traffic and leads from social network presence.

Masters Degree

·         Master’s in Business with specialization in Marketing Strategy / Digital Marketing/ Advertising, or other relevant field

·         Good analytical, computing and communication skills. Strong Background in communication

·         Ability to work diligently on tasks that may be tedious but are crucial for projects.

·         The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and absolute commitment to task completion.
