Job Purpose

To provide outreach support for engaging with media for the IDP project.

Job  Outline

The jobholder as “Outreach Coordinator – BIPP” reports to the Associate Director and performs a set of responsibilities that ensures the requisite communication and outreach support for media engagement in IDP project in BIPP.

The work will include creation of training material, video content and insight stories from India data Portal and IndiaPulse@ISB HFI indicators on IDP. Leading social media presence related to IDP. The role will require networking with journalists and media houses. There will be some admin responsibilities in the role. The coordinator may at a later stage also identify potential sponsor partners, or collaborators that will take the IDP project forward.

Post Graduate in Mass Communications/economics

Adept at working with data, engaging with media, good at working on social media, able to create online training material, Interpersonal skills, Coordination skills, Communication skills.

8-10 years’ experience in media related organizations or departments in academic institutions, NGO, and corporates.
