Job Outline

Prof. Parshuram Hotkar is looking for a full-time post-doctoral research position with expertise in the following areas: (i) Microeconomics, (ii) Optimization/Game Theory, and (iii) Statistics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities: (i) conducting secondary research of academic as well as policy/practitioner literature, (ii) developing economic models, (iii), conducting statistical analysis, and (iv) writing manuscripts for top-tier journals.

Desirable Experience

• Doctoral or equivalent degree in economics, operations management, econometrics, statistics from reputed university with good academic credentials.

• Independently carry out research activities and maintain high quality and integrity of work, attention to detail, ability to multitask and commitment to task completion.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are critical. Evidence of prior scientific writings – report, manuscript, etc., is required.

• Familiarity with game theory, real analysis, and probability theory.
• Prior work experience in statistical analysis and Mathematica modeling.
