Research Associate under Professor Harsha Tadikonda, Strategy Area, Indian School of Business

Position details:

ISB is looking for candidates with strong quantitative capabilities, and excellent communication skills. We seek applications from motivated individuals with a strong academic background to work as Research Associates at ISB. The position requires a minimum commitment of one year, with a possibility of extension subject to performance. Research Associates (RA) generally go on to pursue Ph.D. in internationally renowned business schools after working at ISB for about 2 years.

There is one RA position available in the Strategy Area with Professor Harsha Tadikonda.

The candidate will assist the faculty in their ongoing research work which includes building and analyzing large datasets and conducting literature reviews. The position is best suited for a candidate with an interest in pursuing a PhD in Strategy or Entrepreneurship.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1) Master’s level degree (A bachelor level, degree with a high CGPA too is fine).

2) Background in basic econometrics is highly desired.

3) Familiarity with a statistical package (SAS, Stata, or R) is also required.

4) Familiarity with a programming language (SQL, Python etc.)  is preferable.

Skills and Qualifications

BE/ B.Tech from premier engineering institutions

or

BA/B.Sc. in Economics or Public Policy

or

MBA/ PGDM from premier institutions like IIMs

Consistently good CGPA, evidence of academic excellence.

The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and absolute commitment to task completion.
