Research Associate with Professor Vasundhara Sharma

Position details:

ISB is looking for candidates with strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, and excellent communication skills. We seek applications from motivated individuals with a strong academic background to work as Research Associates at ISB.

There is currently one RA position available in the Information Systems Area with Professor Vasundhara Sharma.

The candidate will assist the faculty in their ongoing research work, which includes reviewing and assimilating key research ideas in an area, acquiring and analyzing large datasets, and presenting results and other visualizations of the data.

The position is best suited for a candidate with a PhD or an interest in pursuing a PhD in leading business schools worldwide.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1) Masters or Ph.D degree in a quantitative area such as Economics, Statistics,  Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics…

2)  Strong coding proficiency in Python, R and SQL.

3)  Experience working with big data systems, concepts, and tools.

4)  Excellent problem-solving skills.

5)  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

6)  Exposure to economic problems and econometric techniques.

7)  Motivation to learn and strong work ethic.
