Job Description for RA Position 

Brief Introduction: 

The Indian School of Business wants to recruit promising young researchers in the discipline of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations Management, Organisational Behaviour and Strategy. We seek applications from motivated individuals with a strong academic background to work as Research Associates at ISB. 

Position details: 

• There is one (1) RA position available with Professor Nitin Kumar in the Finance area. His primary research interests are in the areas of mutual funds and stock return predictability using quantitative strategies.   

• The candidate will assist the professor in the ongoing research work, data collection, data cleaning and in the development of research papers. 

• The candidate must have extremely high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, and absolute commitment to task completion. 

Eligibility criteria: 

• A strong interest in the financial markets with a passion for research 

• A Graduate or Postgraduate degree from top institutions like 

• B Tech/BS from IIT, NIT, Indian Statistical Institute. 

• MBA/ PGDBM from IIM, ISB 

• A high CGPA. Evidence of academic excellence. 

• Excellent data analysis skills in at least one of the following: Python, R, SAS 

• Excellent analytical and computing skills 

• Excellent communication and writing skills 

• Familiarity with econometric methods will be an advantage
