Research Associate with Professor Sanjay Kallapur

ISB is seeking applications from motivated individuals with a strong academic background to work as Research Associates at ISB. One RA position (Research Associate – Corporate Governance) is available in the Accounting Area with Prof. Sanjay Kallapur in Hyderabad.

Brief Role: The RA will support research initiatives in Corporate Governance by conducting literature surveys, collecting data and insights from secondary sources, summarising available reports and papers, preparing documentation for surveys, analysing survey responses, and creating reports and presentations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of corporate work experience/ academic institutions; Aspiring Ph.D. students are welcome to apply. Those with Secretarial, CA, Economics, or Political Science backgrounds with exposure to corporate governance will have an edge.
  • Women who took a break from their corporate experience for personal reasons and seeking to re-ignite their careers are welcome to apply
  • Analytical skills and computer literacy; Proficiency in data analysis tools will be advantageous (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar).
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative
  • Previous experience in research, data analysis, or academic writing is a plus, as also knowledge of survey design and administration
  • Demonstrated track record of high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and absolute commitment to task completion.
