Position Details:

ISB is looking for candidates with strong analytical and quantitative capabilities and excellent communication skills. We seek applications from motivated individuals with a solid academic background to work as Research Associates at ISB. Research Associates (RA) generally pursue Ph.D. in internationally renowned business schools after working at ISB for two years.

There are two RA positions available in the Operations Management Area with Professor Milind Sohoni

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1) Bachelor's/Master’s degree with a high CGPA is required. Background in mathematical optimization, economics, econometric and statistical modeling is a plus.

2) Familiarity with a programming language (Matlab, C++, Python)  is also required.

3) The candidate will assist the faculty in their ongoing research work, which includes developing analytical models, solution algorithms, and designing computational experiments. The position is best suited for a candidate interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in areas related to Data Science, Operations Research/Management, Other related disciplines.

Skills and Qualifications

1) The candidate must hold a Bachelors's or Master's degree in a field related to any one of the following: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences and Engineering.

2) Evidence of academic excellence and good writing skills.

3) The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and commitment to task completion.
