Job Purpose

We seek applications from motivated individuals with a strong academic background to work as Research Associate at ISB in Public Policy Area with Professor Ashwini Chhatre.  Research Associates (RA) generally work for a span of  2 years and then go on to pursue Ph.D. in internationally renowned business schools.

Job  Outline

·         The candidate will assist the professor in the ongoing research work which includes data-collection, data-cleaning, literature review as well as data analysis

·         Create research summaries in multiple formats, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, graphs, written summaries

·         Assisting in writing for publication and the regulatory review process

·Working with a multidisciplinary translational research team focused on initiatives related to

·         public policy

·         This position is a good fit if you are looking to do a PhD in the future.

Knowledge / Education

Specific Skills

Masters Degree

·         Master’s in Economics, Geography, Public Policy or B.Tech from reputed university

·         Good analytical, computing and communication skills. Strong Background in Mathematics/Econometrics.

·         Ability to work diligently on tasks that may be tedious but are crucial for projects

·         The candidate must have high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and absolute commitment to task completion.

·         Web-Scrapping is an added advantage

·         Working knowledge of (some) statistical software and/or programming languages like R, Stata, Python, Matlab etc. is essential
