Job Purpose

The LMS programmer will use their PHP/Moodle coding and MySQL abilities to enhance/Customize Moodle features and fix bugs.

 

Job Outline

The candidate is expected to:

  • Ideate and write code for new features in Moodle using PHP, Java Script and Mysql as backend.
  • Integrate Moodle with multiple third party platforms using APIs.
  • Customize moodle features and plugins as per businedd needs.
  • Write PHP scripts to automate existing and repetitive business processes.
  • Optimize code to improve performance.
  • Identify programming bugs and resolve them.
  • Research and identify latest moodle plugins useful for business process.
  • Upgrade moodle from time to time based on latest release.
  • Collaborate with endusers to understand business needs.

Required Experience

Graduate in IT/Computer Science

 

  • Enthusiastic and have a deep understanding Moodle LMS.
  • Good coding skills, specially in PHP.
  • Excellent knowledge of LAMP Stack.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Able to convey ideas and information clearly and accurately to self or others in writing and verbally
  • 2-3 years’ experience in PHP/Moodle development.
  • Good command over PHP, Java Script and Mysql.
