Job Purpose

Responsible for:

  • Work with faculty and Senior Associate Director in development of innovative course curricula and teaching material in healthcare management, including public health.
  • Work with internal and external partners in the launch of new open programs
  • Work with internal partners and prospective clients in scaling custom design program
  • Manager the Action Learning Project process of the Advanced Management Programme for Healthcare.


Job Outline

ISB’s Max Institute of Healthcare Management (ISB MIHM) is an interdisciplinary research centre at the Indian School of Business that provides deep insights on healthcare delivery and management to policymakers, public institutions, and corporates, and enables the creation of better health systems through the integrated elements of research, education, and outreach. As ISB MIHM continues to scale up its Executive Education and capacity-building programmes portfolio in private and public health, we seek a Manager (Programme Development) to join our team to support the institute’s educational program develop team:

The successful candidate will carry out the below activities:

  • New curriculum: Support the development of new curriculum in healthcare management including support the program launches as part of ISB EE or partner program portfolio   
  • Custom design programs: develop custom program design and scale this opportunity by working with ISB EE. 
  • Development of teaching material: Manage the case development process by identifying opportunity, garner support from faculty and publication of the same with CLMP
  • Capacity Building: Work with central and state government health departments/authorities/ authorities in understanding training needs and develop program designs that can enhance the management capacity of public health cadre.
  • Advanced Management Program in Healthcare: Process owner for Action Learning Project of the program.

Desirable Experience

  • Master's in social science / Public health / MBA / MBA HR
  • Preferred exposure to public health / L&D  / competency mapping


  • Flair for writing and drafting proposals basis research, gaining domain understanding and blending it with ISB’s expertise
  • Understanding of healthcare industry / public health system, transformations in the public sector etc.
  • Good command over English language for communicating verbally and in writing
  • Exposure to L&D (program design, training needs assessment)
  • Worked in healthcare consultancy / organization / public health setting

Key Responsibilities

Develop healthcare-specific programme design and curriculum, including industry survey, focused group discussion, etc.



Development of proposal for custom modules – private and public health  



Manage the programme development, launch and execution of the program



Collaborate for programme marketing with internal teams



Manage the Action Learning Project for the Advanced Management Programme for Healthcare
