Job Purpose

Responsible for:

  • End-to-end grants management
  • Day-to-day administrative management, including but not limited to hiring, procurement, contracting, compliance, and planning
  • Event management, including online/physical events and conferences
  • Budget management, including actual statements and reconciliation of finances, etc. for grants and Institute
  • Streamlining and documentation of processes, creation of SOPs, process improvement for admin and operational matters
  • Curating various reports for department initiatives and work

 

Job Outline

ISB’s Max Institute of Healthcare Management (ISB MIHM) is an interdisciplinary research centre at the Indian School of Business that provides deep insights on healthcare delivery and management to policymakers, public institutions, and corporates, and enables the creation of better health systems through the integrated elements of research, education, and outreach. As ISB MIHM continues to scale up its research, education, and outreach activities, we seek a Manager (Admin) to join our team to support the institute’s administration and day-to-day management.  

The successful candidate will carry grants management, day-to-day administrative management, event management, and budget management to strengthen the day-to-day working at ISB MIHM. This person will be responsible for seamless operational management for research and events and will document and/or report all initiatives.

Desirable Experience

  • Graduate with 6-7 years of experience in administration
  • Experience in grants management, budgets, and multi-stakeholder coordination must
  • A keen learner with high level of initiative 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ease with MS office suite (Word, Excel, PPT) 
  • Ability to plan, organize, and monitor multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem solving and decision making
Experience in managing projects, grants, and physical/online events or conferences

  • Within MIHM: Admin team, Research team, Managers, Associates, Interns
  • Outside MIHM: HR, IT, Commercials, Legal, Finance, FDRO, Grants Office, Operations, etc.
