Job Purpose

Overseeing seamless delivery of PGPMAX, PGPMFAB, PGPpro (all locations), and Office of Exam Control-ASA Modular as per the laid down process. Adapting to disruptions and ensuring course delivery continues flawlessly. Managing the expectation of students and faculty across the modular PGP programmes.

 

Job Outline

The primary responsibility of the job holder is to ensure seamless academic experience across PGPMAX, PGPMFAB, and PGPpro programmes at all locations. It involves course coordination, conducting all evaluation components, managing the pre & post-term activities, and Data Management. The role also requires regular interaction with the faculty and ensuring excellent support for them. The role includes liaising with several other departments such as RO, FA, IT, Operations, SEAL, Commercials, and LRC. With recent developments related to the pandemic, there is a thrust on quick resolution of IT issues. The acceptable TATs for Grade release, Faculty Feedback, AACSB, AMBA, and Equis-related Data, Audit activity, and queries to programme offices also come under the purview of the role. Furthermore, the JD also includes overseeing the coordination/planning with partner schools for international modules.

The incumbent is expected to work closely with the Director-ASA for planning and managing the modular PGPs. Post planning, s/he is required to manage the team (Modular PGPs) and is also necessary to interact with the student bodies throughout the year. S/he is also responsible for bringing improvements to the system and implementing them.

As a part of the data maintenance activities, the job holder is required to keep an updated and error-free record of the department's data. S/he needs to play a critical role in the AACSB, AMBA, and Equis accreditation by coordinating and collating data from the relevant stakeholders.

An essential aspect of the incumbent's role is overseeing the Office of Exam Control-ASA Modular's activities to facilitate the prompt release of students' grades and CGPA. Ensuring adherence to the internal academic audit's (IAA) observation/reconditions is also crucial to this role.

The AD must ensure the programme updates about ASA on Atrium on the latest developments, strategies, and structural changes. S/he is also expected to update the internal process documents and Student & Faculty Handbook every year and update information on the ISB website.

Team Management

Supervise, support, and advise the ASA team on their day-to-day activities, ensuring that all areas of programme delivery are carried out seamlessly and efficiently. Providing the right person was doing the respective job, and changes were made when required. Managing the balance between the team so that the machinery worked flawlessly throughout the year, primarily since most of the year, the team worked from different locations.
