Marketing and Communications Department, Indian School of Business

Location: ISB Campus - Hyderabad

The Marketing and Communications Department at ISB leads brand building initiatives for the School. It supervises and directs the workflow of the School's outreach through marketing channels (website, events, social media, online, print, etc.), advertising, and public relations functions of the School. It also works with other departments within and outside the School to enhance, protect and safeguard the institution's brand value across the globe and across all channels.

We are currently seeking a candidate to join our team as a Design Specialist who will bring with them strong design skills, an ability to work within the framework of brand guidelines to design distinctive communication assets, and a keen sense of timelines to deliver design support to user departments.

The position holder will report to the Manager - Marketing and Communications.

Key responsibilities

  • Understanding and delivering on design requirements set by user departments through optimal approaches to branding/design
  • Developing design ideas for ongoing promotions for the School and user departments based on requirements stated by the Design Manager
  • Designing assets for the School website, as per platform specifications
  • Supporting requests for creation of branding collaterals such as brochures, social media posts, website banners, and event backdrops/banners/standees from departments within the School

Candidate profile

  • Ideal candidates will have a background in graphic/multimedia design, coupled with at least 1-2 years of work experience
  • They will have relevant skills and experience in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Invision
  • They will have the ability to produce good quality work while adhering to stringent timelines
  • Relevant experience in a design-oriented setup

Desired attributes

  • A good understanding of the latest techniques in digital and print-based design
  • Creative flair and attention to detail
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in designing print and digital collaterals
  • Necessary interpersonal skills to work within a team and with various stakeholders across the School
  • Good to have (but not necessary): A bachelor’s or advanced degree in design
  • Good to have (but not necessary): A working knowledge of video editing/production
