Job Purpose

Lead -HUL will be the subject matter expert, to lead the ongoing initiative of Impact evaluation of HUL’s ‘Prabhat Poshan Saathi’ at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business. She/He will be responsible for designing and implementing a rigorous research design, using advanced statistical methods for causal inference, and coordinating with partners to collect data in a consistent and ethical manner. The Lead - HUL project will report to the Policy Director at Bharti Institute and will supervise RA, Data Scientist and Interns who will assist in data collection and analysis.

 

Job Outline

  • Lead the impact evaluation of HUL’s Prabhat Poshan Saathi program.
  • Coordinate with HUL and its implementation partners to ensure consistent data collection and analysis in ongoing project locations.
  • Design a Difference in Difference (DID) Methodology for new project locations and establish data collection protocols to ensure data consistency across various locations.
  • Implement the micro-nutrient study in new project locations and ensure research ethics around Human Subject Research are adhered to.
  • Supervise researchers and interns who will assist in data collection and analysis.

  • Postgraduate/ Ph.D (preferably Public Policy, Economics, Statistics, or related fields)
An ideal Candidate should:
  • Have over 10 years of working experience in a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of impact evaluation methods, including randomized control trials and Difference in Difference (DID) methodology.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical methods for causal inference.
  • Have excellent data analysis and report writing   skills, along with client orientation.
  • Knowledge of public health and nutrition programs in India.
  •  Excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey critical findings to technical and lay audiences alike
