Job Purpose

The Research Assistant will support the Lead - HUL Project in conducting impact evaluation of the HUL’s 'Prabhat Poshan Saathi' program at Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business. The Research Assistant will assist in designing a rigorous research design, implementing data collection protocols, analyzing data, and preparing reports and presentations on the findings of the impact evaluation.

Job Outline

• Assist the Lead - HUL Project in coordinating with HUL and its implementation partners to ensure consistent data collection and analysis in ongoing project locations.
• Assist in designing and implementing a Difference in Difference (DID) Methodology for new project locations and establishing data collection protocols to ensure data consistency across various locations.
• Assist in implementing the micro-nutrient study in new project locations and ensure research ethics around Human Subject Research are adhered to.
• Support the Lead - HUL Project in supervising interns who will assist in data collection and analysis.
• Analyze data using statistical software such as STATA or R.
• Prepare reports and presentations on the findings of the impact evaluation.
• Communicate regularly with the Lead - HUL Project to provide updates on the progress of the project.

• Postgraduate(Public Policy, Economics, Statistics, or related fields)

• Have over 3years of working experience in a M & E.
• Experience in impact evaluation methods, including randomized control trials, and Difference in Difference (DID) methodology.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical methods for causal inference.
• Excellent data analysis and report writing skills, along with client orientation.
• Knowledge of public health and nutrition programs in India.
• Proficiency in using statistical software such as STATA or R.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey critical findings to technical and lay audiences alike.
