Job Purpose

Overseeing seamless delivery of Advanced Management Programmes and GlobalManagement Programmes at Mohali/Hyd: Advanced Management Programme for Healthcare, Advanced Management Programme for Public Policy, Leadership and Management Programme for Public Policy (LMPPP), Advanced Management Programme for Infrastructure, Advanced Management Programme for Manufacturing and Operations, Global Management Programme for Manufacturing and Operations, Global Management Programme for Infrastructure and any other programme that will be added under the AMP/GMP umbrella.

Adapting to disruptions and ensuring online/hybrid/in-class course delivery continues flawlessly. Ensuring 100% satisfaction of students and faculty in AMPs and GMPs. Coordination and collaboration with RCIs, PGP and PGP Modular Programmes to ensure that processes and policies are maintained across all Programmes as applicable.

 

 

Job  Outline

The primary responsibility of the job holder is to ensure seamless academic experience across Advanced Management Programmes and Global Management Programmes. It involves end-to-end classroom experience, course coordination, overseeing the conducting of all evaluation components, Pre and Post-Term activities, Data Management and continuous redressal of students concerns related to academics. The role also requires regular interaction with the faculty on and off campus, and resolving issues with them wherever required, as also ensuring proficient secretarial support is provided to them. The role also includes liaising with all other departments such as RO, FA, Audit, IT, Operations and RCI. The acceptable TATs for Grade release, Faculty Feedback, Data, Audit activity, queries on ASAAssist is also the responsibility of this role. Furthermore, the JD also includes coordinating for Honour Code cases at Mohali and ensuring student queries are resolved quickly by the Associate Dean and RCIs.

 

This role includes responsibility of Academic Associates entirely (for AMPs and GMPs), and includes related recruitment, allocations, follow ups as well as coordinating with AAs from time to time. The AA allocations for all AMPs/GMPs needs to be done well in time and appropriately.     

 

The incumbent is expected to work closely with the Associate Director ASA for planning and managing the AMPs and the Associate Dean, Academic Programmes. Post planning, s/he is required to manage the AMP team and AAs allocated for the courses and is also required to interact with the students throughout the year. S/he is also responsible for bringing improvements in the system and implementing them.

 

The Senior Manager must update the AMP and GMP pages on Atrium on the latest developments, strategies and structural changes. S/he is also expected to update the Student Manuals, AA Manual and Faculty Handbook every year as also ensure updation of AMP information on the ISB website

 

As a part of the data maintenance activities, the job holder is required to keep an updated and error-free record of the department’s data. S/he needs to play a critical role in the Management of AMPs by coordinating and collating data from the relevant stakeholders.

 

An important aspect of the incumbent’s role is to release students’ grades in a timely manner and identify students for academic probation. S/he has to keep a keen eye on LOAs and their returns, and also ensure LOA students can complete the programme seamlessly.

Ensure AAs are well prepared for AMP classes and enhance classroom experience so that both faculty and students are satisfied. Supervise, support and advise the AMP/GMP team at Mohali on their day to day activities, ensuring that all areas of Programme delivery are carried out seamlessly and efficiently. Ensuring the right dept/person is doing the respective job and changes are made when and as required. Managing the balance between the AMP team and ASA Core team so that the machinery worked flawlessly throughout the year especially since most functions are supported by one another.
