Job Purpose

To manage Bharti Institute of Public Policy’s project and grant portfolio and execution of the entire lifecycle of projects starting from proposal stage to project closure along with contribute towards the growth of the department through general administration and outreach/conference events.

 

Job Outline

Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) aims to lead education and research in the domain of public policy. The institute stands tall as one of India’s eminent public policy think tanks engaging with esteemed policy makers and providing them with critical, data-driven evidence, research, and analysis on relevant and critical concerns.

The jobholder as “Sr. Manager” performs a set of responsibilities that ensures the requisite leadership in administration of grants and sponsored projects in BIPP. The job holder will also work closely with BIPP Executive Director in coordinating external partners and donors, liaison with state and central government agencies, and ensure that contractual obligations are met for each project. The job holder will oversee the maintenance of the record of activities and expenses for each project as well as manage the relationship with the donor, including submission of financial and narrative reports on time. The jobholder needs to coordinate with the Finance department to ensure expenses statements are updated regularly, as well as ensure that bill submission and reimbursements are smooth and timely.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 6-8 years of experience in managing projects and handling departmental administration with a strong academic record
  • Masters from a top ranked school is preferred.
