Job Purpose

To steer the holistic development of students, advancement of their professional and social management capabilities.

Design and deliver Student Affairs programmes, activities & initiatives to enhance the learning experience of students across PGP students.

Manage & facilitate Professional clubs; Industry Deep dive Sessions, workshops, speaker sessions, etc.

Oversee School’s Marquee Events and Study Treks.

To design Learning & Development (L&D) interventions in alignment with students’ career aspirations.


Job Outline

At ISB, Student Affairs under ASA is committed to creating a holistic learning environment for all academic programmes participants.

The main responsibility is to design and deliver Student Affairs calendar for flawless execution of student activities and enhance the student learning experience.

To steer the holistic development of students, advancement of their professional and social management capabilities by:

a) Managing and facilitating student professional club activities for better industry knowledge through various club activities and workshops.

b) Networking platform for developing life skills, Team Management, Conflict Management and Negotiation

c) Deliver L&D sessions in alignment with their career aspirations through hard skills and soft skills workshops.

Manage the Student Affairs calendar and to work with multiple departments and ensure a smooth onboarding, Immersion, and familiarization, functioning of professional and social clubs, Corporate and Alumni outreach for L&D to cater diverse profile with varied interests, Club Conclaves, Social Club Initiatives, B-School/Corporate Competitions, and execution of elections and graduation.

The incumbent will also be responsible to Manage & facilitate Marquee Events: Provide a networking platform to the student teams and invite experts and thought leaders from industry and academia to share their insights on purpose-driven leadership, entrepreneurship, current and emerging industry trends- challenges & opportunities, skills required for the new normal, technological innovations.

This role is extremely crucial for the school as it guides students to carve their path and make them future ready. She/He should be highly motivated, creative, and strategic thinker committed to promoting student success and engagement.

MBA from a top-tier institute preferred

We are looking for an MBA Graduate with 12-14 years of total experience. Multi-sector exposure will be an added advantage. The candidate should preferably be from a premier Business School with excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Since this job involves interacting with students on a regular basis, the incumbent is expected to maintain high degree of confidentiality. The incumbent must also be adept at leveraging secondary academic and industry research to curate insight. Exposure to multiple domains will be an advantage. The position requires working on the weekends, regularly and, from time-to-time travel as well.
