Mr Ajit Rangnekar is currently the Director General of Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH). He conceptualised and started RICH as co-founder, spearheading the start-up ecosystem for Lifesciences and Agritech and leading the creation of the Hyderabad city cluster.

In his previous roles as the Dean and Deputy Dean for the Indian School of Business (ISB), he managed the initial start-up years and helped the institute grow through increasing years of visibility, reducing costs, ensuring financial sustainability, and obtaining the first ever global AACSB accreditation. He led ISB’s global recognition and ranking to the top twenty in the world and the formation of ISB’s second campus at Mohali. In addition, Mr Rangnekar has co-founded T-HUB and started D-Labs to support entrepreneurs. Mr Rangnekar has also served in key positions at PWC Consulting Hongkong and ACC Limited Mumbai.

In terms of educational qualifications, Mr Rangnekar holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from IIT Bombay and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad.
