Mr Gopalakrishnan R is actively engaged in both, instructional and inspirational speaking. He has authored seventeen books since 2007. He brings over 55 years of corporate experience (31 years in Unilever and 17 years in Tata) and 34 years of Board experience and has delivered over 100 keynotes in India and abroad.

Gopal studied physics at Kolkata University, engineering at IIT Kharagpur, and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He has been a professional manager since 1967. He has served as Chairman of Unilever Arabia, as MD of Brooke Bond Lipton, as Vice Chairman of Hindustan Lever, and as director of Tata Sons and several other Tata companies. Presently he is serving as an independent director and non–executive chairman of Castrol India, independent director of Press Trust of India (PTI);Executive in Residence at the SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, and remains a Distinguished Professor at IIT Kharagpur.
