Tara Ollapally

Ms Tara Ollapally is an international Human Rights lawyer of 20 years, who started working in areas of Immigration and Asylum Law as she began her practice in the United States. She co-founded CAMP Arbitration and Mediation Practice Pvt Ltd. in 2015, one of India’s leading and pioneering private mediation institutions. Tara’s focus at CAMP has been to build institutional mediation capability and build the business of mediation.

To raise awareness of mediation, Tara regularly speaks on mediation and holds awareness sessions for law firms, businesses, and in-house legal teams. She trains mediators as part of the CAMP - Edwards Mediation Academy partnership. She also works with Harvard Law School in administering their flagship course, ‘Mediating Disputes’. Tara leads multiple collaborations with the Indian government, international institutions, and domestic partners to make mediation a part of the dispute resolution landscape in India.

Tara is licensed to practice law in New York and Bangalore, India. She has trained extensively in mediation in both India and the US. She is a graduate of University Law College and received her master’s in law from Columbia Law School. She currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband and three children.
