DLabs at the Indian School of Business (ISB), in partnership with CitiusTech, has recently virtually unveiled the third cohort of its flagship healthcare accelerator programme, ‘I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0’. This initiative aims to strengthen the digital healthcare ecosystem in India by fostering innovation, supporting startups, and empowering healthcare professionals with advanced digital tools.
The launch event was graced by Mr. Manoj Balwani, Executive Vice President at CitiusTech, and Professor. Bhagwan Chowdhry, Faculty Director, I-Venture @ ISB. Both leaders emphasised the vital role of technology and entrepreneurship in addressing the nation’s critical healthcare challenges.
The programme has attracted 173 applications from startups across the country. After a rigorous selection process, 15 high-potential startups have been chosen to participate in the cohort. These ventures span diverse thematic areas, including digital health, women & children, healthcare disease diagnostics, healthcare management & infrastructure, and the geriatric population.
Meet the startups:
Through I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0, these startups will benefit from ISB’s extensive network of mentors, investors, and industry leaders. The programme offers unparalleled access to hospital and investor partners, guidance on regulatory compliance, and hands-on mentorship to scale innovative solutions. A special focus will be on training healthcare workers with digital tools, ensuring last-mile healthcare delivery is more efficient and impactful.
Key engagements planned during the programme include a healthcare conclave, a hackathon to solve real-world challenges, investment boot camps, and a demo day to connect startups with potential investors and market opportunities.
Professor Bhagwan Chowdhry, Faculty Director, I-Venture @ ISB, said, “Innovation is the key to addressing the growing complexities in healthcare. Through I-HEAL @ ISB, we aim to nurture startups that will transform the way healthcare is delivered in India.”
Mr. Manoj Balwani, EVP, CitiusTech, added, “At the heart of everything we do at CitiusTech, we derive satisfaction in the fact that we make a difference to human life. The collaboration between DLabs and CitiusTech was right down our alley, and we felt this is a perfect fit for a step towards building a stronger digital healthcare ecosystem, not just in India but in the world. This programme is a testament to the power of innovation and technology in driving impactful change.”
I-HEAL @ ISB 3.0 is designed to support startups that have progressed beyond the MVP stage, providing them with mentorship, market access, and resources to scale their impact. This initiative exemplifies ISB’s commitment to driving meaningful change in the healthcare sector by enabling innovation and collaboration.
