Artificial Intelligence (AI) has advanced significantly, but its value in healthcare remains limited due to a lack of direct involvement from clinicians. A joint initiative by the Indian School of Business (ISB) and AIG Hospitals aims to address this gap through the 'Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Programme,' designed to equip healthcare practitioners with AI skills and insights. The Max Institute of Healthcare Management (MIHM) at ISB will serve as the programme’s knowledge partner.
Sarang Deo, Executive Director of MIHM and Professor at ISB, explains, "Participants will develop an understanding of AI technologies and their applications in healthcare, including opportunities and challenges in implementation."
