ISB SkillsHub partners with APSSDC

By ISB Executive Education Sep 01, 2022

Under its SkillsHub umbrella, ISB collaborated with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to equip Indian youth with future-ready skills. ISB signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the APSSDC of the Andhra Pradesh government, which paved the way for this collaboration.

There would be four novel, leading-edge programmes, namely business literacy, behavioural competencies, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial literacy. Students and graduates from engineering, management, pharmacy, degree, polytechnic and other autonomous colleges are being invited to enrol for the same. These programmes, led by ISB's faculty, incorporate industry-relevant content, cutting-edge learning methods, assessments, and certifications to guarantee that students make the most of both time-tested knowledge and seasonal skills. The cornerstone of SkillsHub's partnerships with Central and State government bodies is to equip the Indian youth with in-demand, future-ready skills to promote economic impact and sustainable progress.

Commenting on this partnership, Professor Deepa Mani, said, “One of the ISB’s core objectives is to build capacity for nation-building. In its third decade, the school aspires to create an impact by scaling up its programmes. Partnership with APSSDC is towards this objective. It is a good opportunity for the students to take up the ISB-developed digital programmes, which will help them stay a step ahead in the highly competitive and disruptive job market.”
