Professor Kavil Ramachandran, Senior Advisor at the Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise, Indian School of Business, is quoted in an article titled "Ramco Owners to Restructure Stakes, Erase Cross-Holdings," published in Mint.

"The group has to fortify its structure considering the competitive landscape, and for that, this removal of cross-holding is important. Also, if the group considers any exit plans in the future, they need to clear the ground, especially for a family-oriented business.
