Prakash Bagri is Associate Dean – Corporate Engagements & Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at the Indian School of Business.  He has two decades of senior leadership experience in diverse industries including consumer packaged goods (Unilever) & technology (Intel).  His last corporate role was as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Intel, South Asia.  Over the past decade, Prakash has extended his influence as a senior consultant and faculty in leading business schools.

During his long corporate stint, Prakash built a billion-dollar business, established three new categories, divested two businesses, managed 8 different distribution systems and nurtured & launched 12 different brands.  Prakash is also credited with championing and leading major industry-shaping initiatives to widen technology enablement and its impact in India. He was the architect and driving force behind drafting and tabling the Government of India’s Digital Vision document (2007-10).

As founder of PRB Partners, Prakash has provided senior-level guidance and intervention (including running Board & Leadership coaching) to multiple organizations. He continues to be engaged as strategic advisor and mentor for select growth-stage companies. Prakash also extended his interest through pedagogy and was Adjunct Faculty at the Indian Institutes of Management in Ahmedabad, Bangalore & Calcutta (2011-2019).  Delving into his diverse industry and cross-functional leadership experience, Prakash developed and offered courses on strategic management and marketing of innovation and new age businesses, which were received with high interest across campuses. 

Prakash is a recipient of the prestigious Intel Achievement Award (2005), was featured as “Brand Boss” in The Economic Times (2009) and recognized by the World Brand Congress with the Outstanding Marketing Professional Award (2009). He also held the position of Chairman, CMO Council Asia (South Chapter) during 2010-11.

Prakash graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (1990) and did his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (1992). He received his doctorate from the School of Business, Singapore Management University (2019).
