IDP Newsroom Workshop with Andhra Jyothi

‘How to Use Data in News’ – India Data Portal (IDP) team conducted a workshop for the editorial and reporting team of Andhra Jyothi, one of the leading Telugu dailies in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The workshop through practical examples from the state of Telangana covered sectors like Union Budget, Agriculture, MGNREGA and Mission Antyodaya. Addressing his team K Srinivas, Editor spoke about the importance of data in today’s news. The workshop was conducted by Deepti Soni, Sr Consultant, Communication and Outreach with support from Somashekar Mulugu, Consultant, IDP and V Ramana, senior journalist at Andhra Jyothi.
