इंडियन स्कूल ऑफ बिजनेस (आईएसबी) में भारती इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पब्लिक पॉलिसी (बीआईपी) के इंडिया डाटा पोर्टल (आईडीपी) ने उत्तरांचल प्रेस क्लब (यूपीसी), देहरादून के सहयोग से उत्तराखंड में पत्रकारों के लिए ‘समाचार बनाने एवं प्रस्तुत करने के लिए खुले डाटा का उपयोग’ किए जाने पर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया। कार्यशाला में पत्रकारिता में डाटा का उपयोग करने और www.indiadataportal.com का प्रयोग करते हुए आकर्षक विज़ुअलाइज़ेशन के माध्यम से डाटा कैसे प्रस्तुत किया जाए, इस पर प्रकाश डाला गया। सत्र में पत्रकारों को आईडीपी के बारे में जानकारी दी गई।

India Data Portal (IDP), from the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in collaboration with the Uttaranchal Press Club (UPC), #Dehradun conducted a one-day workshop on ‘Using Open Data for Creating & Presenting News Stories’ for #journalists in #Uttarakhand. The workshop focussed on using data in journalism, and how to present data through attractive visualisations using www.indiadataportal.com. The sessions covered familiarisation with the IDP, which hosts a wide range of processed and documented datasets from Central and state public agencies and government departments. It also covered high-frequency indicators launched during #COVID19 to track the health of the Indian economy under IndiaPulse@ISB initiative.
