Nupur Pavan Bang is the Academic Director at the Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise. She has close to 14 years of teaching and research experience. She has worked as the Head of Analytics at the Insurance Information Bureau of India (IIB), Hyderabad. She played a pivotal role in setting up best practices for Analytics and Research at the Bureau, apart from managing key projects/reports/collaborations for all stakeholders, including the Regulator (IRDAI) and the Government. She started the quarterly IIB Bulletin and successfully published six Issues during her tenure at IIB at its Editor. She has also worked with Centre for Investment at ISB as a Senior Researcher, as an Associate Professor at IBS, Hyderabad and as an Auditor with Natarajan & Swaminathan, CPAs, Singapore. Nupur has many research papers and cases to her credit and contributes regularly to leading business dailies. She has conducted various management development programs and taught at various B-schools. Nupur holds a PhD in the area of Derivatives, was a Post-Doc Fellow at the Indian School of Business and is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) of UK.
