Overview

Net Impact Club is a group of enthusiasts who aims to inspire students in applying their business skills towards creating a positive social impact. The club has achieved the prestigious Gold Chapter in the last 2 years in a row, which means it is one of the best Net Impact Chapters in the world. The club also takes initiatives to drive social responsibility and sustainability among the students.

Ananya Khemka

President

Passionate about grassroots impact, her journey began back in 2017, volunteering with the Child Protection Helpline (1098). Since, she has pro-bono consulted, and volunteered for 10+ causes across AIESEC, PETA, Greenpeace, and more. Professionally, Ananya was first a Consultant at ZS working on strategy for cancer drugs but pivoted to social impact full-time at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), scaling India’s ‘Ayushman Bharat Mission’ alongside the Gates Foundation and the Ministry of Health. Prior to ISB, she brings 4.5+ years of full-time experience at the intersection of strategy consulting, social impact, and healthcare.

Outside of work, when unwinding, she is found sipping coffee, admiring nature, watching sitcoms and petting dogs. As President, Net Impact Club at ISB, she is committed to leveraging business toolkits to scale grassroots impact.

Akshata Jain

Akshata Jain

Vice President

Akshata worked at the intersection of AI, impact tech, and public policy prior to ISB, most recently at Barclays. She developed digital solutions across sectors including BFSI, TMET, healthcare, and financial inclusion-leading initiatives such as tech accelerators for the U.S. CARES Act rollout, AI-driven cancer detection tools, and NLP-based accessibility enhancements. Passionate about policy-driven impact, she has collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders including NGOs, philanthropic foundations, and government agencies. Akshata holds a bachelor's degree in economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness training, reading historical fiction, and volunteering in cultural and education-focused initiatives.

Kritika Garg

President

Kritika is a commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, with over 6 years of experience in the development sector. She has prepared for the civil services and worked closely with the Government of Karnataka through The Nudge Foundation's Indian Administrative Fellowship, where she collaborated with the Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Horticulture to strengthen market linkages for over 80 lakh small and marginal farmers.

Over the past two years, she has been with Samagra, leading initiatives to improve learning outcomes 1 Cr+ students under Uttar Pradesh’s flagship NIPUN Bharat Mission - one of the largest education reform programs in India. She also conceptualized and developed a chatbot for the Mahakumbh Mela, serving the needs of over 4 Cr+ citizens, a project launched by the Prime Minister.

Outside of work, Kritika enjoys traveling and has a deep love for regional music.
