Akansha

President

Akansha is an Electronics engineer from Thapar university's Class of 2016. She was always passionate about giving back to society and thus chose the path of becoming a civil servant. She qualified for the UPSC engineering services exam, in 2018 and was awarded the Indian Skill Development Service Cadre. Prior coming to ISB, she was working towards improving the skilling ecosystem in the state of Madhya Pradesh. 

Outside work, she enjoys reading books and playing badminton.


Nikita Chaudhary

Vice President

Nikita is graduate in B.Tech from Delhi Technological University. She worked with Sattva Consulting in their CSR and corporate sustainability practice for 3 years. At Sattva, Nikita advised corporates to design & implement their social impact programs, focusing in the areas of Education, Gender and Sustainability. Prior to Sattva, she worked in a tech-based startup building CRM for auto-dealers in India for 2.5 years and gained experience in business consulting and data analytics.

Outside work, Nikita likes to spend time in nature, click photographs and read books.


Harshit Malhotra

Marketing & Communications Coordinator

A management studies graduate, Harshit has grown startups across industries via strategy, marketing, and product. He last worked at Sattva Consulting as part of the Impact Measurement & Advisory team where he helped clients develop and monitor their impact strategies. Passionate about films, he has written scripts and content for media companies and also enjoys reading and working out.

Pragya Shukla

Events (Community Initiatives) Coordinator

A computer science graduate who worked as a Software Engineer at HSBC for 2.8 years. She’s been always passionate about delivering impact and did the same during her work tenure by contributing towards a project intended to serve the elderly community of United Kingdom. Service is one of the values that drives her. Pragya has also led an initiative under NSS during her undergrad days and is extensively involved in other activities related to plantation, animal welfare and social service.

Ishan Shukla

Events Coordinator

Ishan is an Ex Indian Navy Officer who is passionate about leading change. During his 10-year experience in the Navy, Ishan has led several impact initiatives such as turtle conservation, beach clean-ups and large community engagements. The cause of conservation of oceans and upliftment of marginalized has always been close to his heart.  He is an adventure enthusiast and likes to read books in leisure time.

Rajat Sharma

Sustainability Coordinator

Rajat Sharma is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from DTU (Delhi Technological University). He has five years of experience with energy operations and projects. He has led sustainability initiatives such as the commissioning of solar power plants, eco-friendly warehouses, and energy-saving lighting systems.  He enjoys playing the flute and taking photographs in his leisure time.

Saloni Chaudhry

Learning & Development Coordinator

Saloni is a commerce student who has worked with both the legislature and the executive. Having worked with the political and bureaucratic leadership of the country, she believes in the power of collective action to create change. She tries to draw from these experiences and apply them to her learnings at business school.  She likes reading and engaging in conversations about public tech, gender, and society, and is passionate about democratizing knowledge and resources. She loves visiting bookshops but does not have the best track record of finishing them.

Yashasvini Mathur

Special Initiatives Lead

Yashasvini is an ex-journalist who worked with ThePrint before switching to the impact consulting space, working with multiple state governments on sustainability and digitalization of SMEs. Her work with state governments in Naxal-affected regions has made her strongly believe that impact require long-term focus by individuals and businesses and is only held together by intent and creativity. She likes reading about how different businesses have built innovative models to bridge the gap between profits and caring for their communities and hopes to work on similar challenges in the future. Having grown up in multiple parts of the country, she is often found to be the most inquisitive and talkative person in the room.

Sanjana Johri

Alumni Relations Coordinator

Sanjana is an Economics graduate from Delhi University. She worked with EY’s Business Consulting practice for 3 years where she consulted numerous multi-national clients on multiple processes and cost-optimization strategies across the business value chain. Her zeal to execute more impactful work led her to pivot to the impact consulting space where she worked with the senior bureaucratic leadership at Government of Haryana on a systemic state education transformation project. She is an avid reader and thoroughly enjoys reading longform journalism.
