In November of 2014, Stephen Sammut, Executive Consultant with the Institute, led an entrepreneurship session with the leaders of several social enterprises in healthcare. The focus was on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Healthcare with the short term goal of producing a mufti-dimensional model that can be used by entrepreneurs, investors, donors and others in the planning of health enterprises, their operation, screening from an investor/donor perspective, governance and in their social and health impact. The purpose was to compare notes and to get input into a comprehensive model for assessment of enterprises and support in their development and scaling.  
In attendance were Sundeep Kapila, CEO of Swasth India, Ashwin Naik, CEO of Vaatsalya, Amit Jain, CEO eHealthPoint, Shwetank Verma, CEO of My Health Mate, Kaushik Sen, CEO of HealthSpring, and Narseh Hasija, the lead in a Biocon Foundation venture providing low cost diagnostics  in Orissa.
