About the Study 

The study calculated unit cost for two types of service delivery systems– Public Health System and Social Franchising System–for the delivery of family planning interventions namely condoms, pills, IUCDs, Sterilisations for India and estimated the cost of interventions for five years for India (2018-2022). The report included a facility-based costing of the services and assessment of resource requirements at national level to facilitate policy decisions and planning for the achievement of family planning goals as per Family planning 2020 document.
