Spirits were high at the Indian School of Business as it celebrated graduation ceremony for the advanced management courses on June 1, 2019. Keeping in view today's dynamic, process and strategy- oriented world, ISB offers advance management degrees in various fields such as public policy, infrastructure management, healthcare management and manufacturing. These programmes bring together public and private sector employees on one platform as students to create dynamic leaders in the four diverse sectors. These courses follow a hybrid model of teaching involving classroom sessions interspersed with online interaction and group - work. This is a one of its kind approach in India.
Rajinder Gupta, the Chairman of the Trident Group who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest remarked that it was a matter of immense pride that a globally ranked institution like ISB was situated in the state of Punjab. He further expressed confidence in the students’ ability to lead for the cause of the benefit of the society. His advice to the graduating batch was to become creators of wealth rather than accumulators of wealth. Rajendra Srivastava, Dean ISB emphasized that the aim of introducing these programmes was to create vibrant leaders who can become adaptive managers and continuous thinkers.
It was a proud moment for the Bharti Institute of Public Policy which offers Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP), as 24 of its students graduated. The Bharti institute of public policy is an eminent think tank, engaging policy makers by providing them critical, evidence-based analyses rooted in data. BIPP attracts some of the most creative minds from various fields in the study of public policy.
Neerja, Rupnagar range inspector general (IG) who graduated in the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP) was all praises for BIPP. Recalling her experience, Neerja said how studying at BIPP allowed her to relive moments from her student life. Punjab Additional Director General of Police (ADGP, STF), Gurpreet Kaur Deo, who also graduated in the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy, while reminiscing about the long policy conversations she used to have with her classmates, remarked how the programme allowed her to meet people from different backgrounds and sectors. These student testimonials prove the institution's commitment towards maintaining the highest standards. Best wishes to the graduating batch as they step out as confident leaders ready to bring a change for good.
