The Max Institute of Healthcare Management is an interdisciplinary research centre that provides deep insights on healthcare delivery and management to policymakers, public institutions and corporates and enables them in creating better health systems through the integrated elements of Research, Education and Outreach.

Max Institute of Healthcare Management (MIHM) is an interdisciplinary research centre that provides deep insights on healthcare delivery and management to policymakers, public institutions and corporates, and enables the creation of better health systems through the integrated elements of Research, Education and Outreach.
MIHM works at the intersection of healthcare innovation and technology 4.O pertaining to healthcare services and products.
Research at MIHM includes the study of the impact of health system design on population-level health outcomes, the role of incentives in healthcare delivery, application of behavioural economics to promote wellness and healthy behaviour, global pharmaceutical economics, leadership and change management in healthcare delivery institutions, innovation and scalability of social ventures in healthcare, and use of technology in creating new models of healthcare delivery.
Consistent with ISB’s goal of preparing leaders of the future, MIHM offers various types of programmes and courses for professionals in the health/pharma sector.
The outreach activities form an important link between the Institute’s stakeholders and its research and education agenda. These include conferences, workshops, roundtables, etc. where the Institute has dialogues with the Government, Corporate and Foundations to understand the burning issues in the healthcare sector and disseminate insights developed through research that can form the basis for effective policy formulation and programme interventions. At MIHM, we conduct several types of events to increase outreach and dissemination of information on our programmes.
