Job Purpose |
The Associate Director plays a pivotal role in steering the Faculty & Research Office's strategic operations. This role encompasses the design and development of advanced Faculty & Research Information Systems, fiscal oversight of departmental activities, policy development, and execution of financial planning and budgeting. The incumbent will oversee the Research Associate (RA) lifecycle, including recruitment, allocation, and performance evaluation, while ensuring seamless facilitation of the Faculty Review and Annual Merit Review (AMR) processes.
To oversee the department operations, to design & develop Faculty & Research Information systems, to handle the finances of the FD Office and manage the policies, to plan & implement the accounting and budgeting activities, to overview the RA's hiring, allocation, alignment, & evaluation, and end-to-end support to the Faculty Review process including handling the Annual Merit review exercise process. |
