Research Associate with Professor Sumit Kunnumkal

There is one RA position available with Professor Sumit Kunnumkal in the Operations Management Area.  Within the Operations Management field, the RA would be primarily working in the development of analytical models, solution algorithms, and designing of computational experiments for problems related to pricing and revenue management.

Desirable Experience
  • B Tech from IIT, NIT or BITS (preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering) or BA/ BSc in a Applied Math or Physics or MBA/ PGDBM from premier institutions like IIMs (preferably in Operations Management)
  • Consistently high CGPA, evidence of academic excellence
  • Background in optimization theory (linear programming, integer programming, convex optimization) is highly desired. Familiarity with a programming language (Matlab, C++, Python etc.) is also required
  • Coursework or prior experience working with optimization models. Strong quantitative and analytic skills. Familiarity with rigorous mathematical analysis
