The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) partnered with a third-party application provider and delivered online content on TB diagnostic best practices through a mobile application to 30,000+ private physicians. Under the project, clustering analysis is done to segment providers based on their digital behaviour and predictive modelling is done to prove that behavioural variables are better at predicting digital engagement when compared to demographic ones. We are currently working on finalising a report for submission to CHAI.
Impact: The project highlights various ways in which providers can engage with digital platforms and suggest ways to improve the design of such mobile-based applications, that could enhance the experience and hence, the engagement of providers with the digital platform.
